PORT HARCOURT- All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State has warned its members against making internal matters of the party public, stating that defaulters would be sanctioned.
APC, yesterday, during a town hall sensitization forum at Khana Local Government Area between the leadership of the party in the area and the state executive, as part of efforts to resolve internal issues confronting the party, also said it would invoke the party’s constitution against anyone found violating its regulations.
State chairman of APC, Chief Davies Ikanya, told those involved in bringing the party’s affairs to public domain to desist, but to work for the unity, growth and success of the party.
He said: “This interactive meeting is important to our party at this time. The essence is to build a solid party ahead of the 2019 general elections. Stop bringing issues that happen in the party to the public.”
