Though I had four kids, I’m a lesbian, Jay-Z’s mum confesses

Mother to American rapper megastar, Jay -Z, has revealed that she is a closeted lesbian, even though she had four children.
In Jay -Z’ s latest album, 4 :44 in the track “ Smile, ” Gloria Carter is quoted to have talked about her struggle with being a closeted lesbian.
On it, her son raps : “ Mama had four kids , but she’ s a lesbian/Had to pretend so long that she ’ s a thespian. ”
At the end of the song , Gloria Carter reads a poem she wrote about her experience , “Living in the Shadows, ”

Now, in a new interview on Friday , Jay -Z’ s mum explains the origin of the track and how she came out to her son who is married to one of America’ s celebrated stars , Beyonce.
Gloria Carter says , “I just finally started telling him who I was. Besides your mother , this is the person that I am. This is the life that I live .
